SUMMARY:Outflows from low to high luminous AGNs
DESCRIPTION:Outflows are believed to play a major role in the evolution of galaxies and are said to be ubiquitous within the active galactic nuclei (AGN) population. However\, we still lack a comprehensive view of their properties and impact in their host galaxies and the surrounding medium. If we focus on the low luminosity part of the AGN family\, in particular in low ionisation nuclear emission-line regions (LINERs)\, the impact of outflows is still largely unknown. I will present our recent work searching for outflows in LINERs using spatially resolved spectroscopy with the MEGARA/GTC instrument. We characterised the detected outflows and compared their properties with more luminous AGNs\, finding several discrepancies. Then I will focus on the case of a more luminous AGN\, the type-2 Seyfert NGC7172\, which was observed within the Galactic Activity\, Torus and Outflow Survey (GATOS) collaboration using MIRI/JWST data. I will present the first results on this galaxy\, for which an outflow was previously detected with both ionised and cold molecular gas in previous observations. \nFecha: 31/10/2023 – 12:30Conferenciante: Laura Hermosa MuñozFiliación: CAB\, INTA-CSIC\, Madrid\, Spain \n
