Abstract:
In this paper, we present simultaneous uvbybeta photometric observations of five SX Phe stars: XX Cyg (P = 0.135d, DELTAV = 0.8m), CY Aqr (P = 0.061d, DELTAV = 0.7m), DY Peg (P = 0.073d, DELTAV = 0.5m), BS Tuc (P = 0.065d, DELTAV = 0.02m) and SU Crt (P = 0.055d, DELTAV = 0.01m). The light curves were obtained at Sierra Nevada Observatory, Granada, Spain and European Southern Observatory, La Silla, Chile on thirty nights from 1986 through 1988 and contain 847 points in each of the four uvby colours of the Stromgren photometric system and 542 points in each of the two narrow and wide channels of the H(beta) Crawford system. A detailed study of these stars, based on the present light curves, will be published separately.
