Abstract:
The BART (Burst Alert Robotic Telescope) is an dedicated automated small aperture telescope in the test operation at the Ondrejov Observatory. The device represents remotely controlled small aperture telescope with attached wide field camera. The BART serves as a dedicated optical telescope for gamma-ray bursts and high energy astrophysics. At the same time, BART is a low-cost device based on commercially available parts. Due to the low cost of the hardware parts, the system is suitable for networking and duplications.
