Active Galactic Nuclei at parsec scales

We present a representative SED for low-luminosity AGNs, built from high-spatial resolution data for the LINERs and faint Seyferts in the sample. This distribution differs from those of bright Seyferts and Quasars, suggesting that the internal structure of AGNs appears to be largely determined by the amount of energy released by the central engine.

On the other hand, we present a multiwavelength study of the nuclear star-formation (~2.5kpc x 2.5kpc) with a resolution of ~0.1" (~10 pc), resolving the individual compact clusters and characterizing their age, mass, extinction, luminosity function and spatial distribution. These clusters are compared with resolved star-forming regions in our galaxy.
