ASKAP and HI in Galaxies

I will divide my talk into three parts, starting with an overview of CSIRO’s Australia Telescope National Facility (ATNF), especially our telescopes (ASKAP & ATCA radio interferometers and the 64-m Parkes Dish), their receiving systems and key science projects. In part two I will provide a update on the Australian SKA Pathfinder (ASKAP), introduce the large ASKAP survey projects, then focus on the science goals of the ASKAP HI All Sky Survey (better known as WALLABY) and show you our latest Early Science results. In the last part of my talk I will focus on HI in and around galaxies, including the Local Volume HI Survey (LVHIS) galaxy atlas and database.
