Concluye la visita del Comité Científico Asesor Externo (ESAB) al IAA-CSIC

Los días 3, 4 y 5 de marzo el Instituto de Astrofísica de Andalucía (IAA-CSIC) ha recibido la visita de su Comité Científico Asesor Externo (ESAB), integrado por investigadores e investigadoras de reconocido prestigio internacional

El objetivo principal del encuentro ha sido revisar las actividades del centro y ofrecer asesoramiento de cara a futuras líneas de actuación

El Comité Científico Asesor Externo (ESAB), integrado por personal investigador de reconocido prestigio internacional, ha visitado las instalaciones del Instituto de Astrofísica de Andalucía los días 3, 4 y 5 de marzo. El objetivo principal de este encuentro ha sido revisar la actividad del Centro de Excelencia Severo Ochoa y ofrecer asesoramiento de cara a futuras actuaciones.

Durante el transcurso de la visita, el ESAB ha revisado las acciones desarrolladas por el IAA-CSIC en todos sus ámbitos de trabajo, así como los principales resultados científicos obtenidos en los últimos tres años. Asimismo, ha mantenido entrevistas y encuentros con los distintos colectivos científico-técnicos (personal técnico, predoctoral, posdoctoral y personal científico en plantilla).

Estas jornadas han permitido revisar y evaluar el trabajo desarrollado desde 2023 y proyectar las nuevas líneas de actuación del IAA-CSIC de cara a los próximos años.

 El Comité Científico Asesor Externo está compuesto por nueve expertos internacionales en diferentes áreas, y presidido por la Prof. Athena Cousteni (CNRS LESIA, Paris-Meudon).
